Starting November 1, we will be having a display of images from the book at the Grand Cru in the Belvedere Square.
On November 19th we will be hosting a reception where the book will be for sale and a chance to have it signed by the writer Sarah Achenbach and Bill Mcallen.
Please stop by and have a drink with us.

Very nice comments and links about the book

It has been a very busy and rewarding month. The book is out and it is great to get out an talk to people about the project in general.
Sarah and I have had lectures and signings all month and will continue all through 2009.
I find one of the best ways to explain the book is to let someone else.
Remember, I'm not the writer.
This one was in Metropolis and is by Elizabeth Evitts Dickinson.

The second one is by Chris Landers of the Baltimore City Paper

The final one is from Marianne Amoss for the Urbanite Magazinehttp://www.urbanitebaltimore.com/sub.cfm?issueID=66§ionID=4&articleID=1094
I really think they captured the spirit of the project.

Nancy and Walter Schamu Lobby of 10 Light Street Baltimore

This is one of those grand buildings that all Baltimore knows but they really have not been inside unless you are a customer bank Bank of America.
The building used to have the large MN on the roof for Maryland National Bank which rumor has it gave you idea of the soon to arrive weather by the colors it would change to
This photos shows the Schamu's in the lobby looking with camera facing north. You can enter the Light Street entrance during banking hours to come in gawk at the beauty of the building.
